Have you ever wondered, "God, what are you doing? Where are you? What are you trying to teach me?" I have, and during these times it's never pleasant. The valleys, mountains, and all the plains in between are not always pleasant but they are worth it.
But, what I do know, is that God is faithful and He will never let me go. When good things are happening and then the darkness comes, I know the dawn is not far away. There is hope. There is always hope for those who trust in the Lord. So, I look for what God wants me to learn or change. Once I learn the lesson and/or change, I won't have to revisit the same valley, mountain, or plain and can move on!
You don't have to revisit the valley, mountains, or plains, either, if you seek the Lord and what He wants you to learn and/or change.
Look up, from where does our help come from? Our help comes from the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
Psalm 33:20 (NIV)
We wait in hope for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
